Welcome to my podcast series “The Psychology Behind” where every week I explore a different topic in the area of mental health and psychology. In each episode I explore research in behavioural science to provide actionable tips on topics ranging from comfort eating and anger management, to self esteem and work place dynamics. The reason that I began the podcast was because having discussed psychology in the media for so many years I am often approached and asked by people about how to cope with the challenges that life throws at them. I’ve always felt its a privilege to have people reach out and tell me their stories, and so the developing ‘the psychology behind’ has allowed me to use technology address the issues that impact people lives. The fact that someone can listen to evidence-based theory and advice at a time and place that suits them is a real leap forward in the way that we approach mental health and well being and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
